Gloucester Terrace

The brief for this apartment - a one-bedroom, pied-à-terre in central London - was to create a “bold, industrial aesthetic” whilst still remaining true to the origins of the stucco terraced building in which the space was located.

For the bathroom, we commissioned a handmade, textured concrete tile, complemented by brushed stainless steel wall and floor spots. The large oversize mirror, invisible storage areas and wall-mounted floating sink work together to create the illusion of space, while the vintage heated towel rail offers a nod to the building’s history.

The overriding theme for the kitchen was “simple, clean and minimal”. Here, we used a monochrome colour palette, coupled with brushed stainless steel worktops, handles and shelving to achieve the required aesthetic.
